WHY IGEMA
Quality Accreditations
IGEMA holds institutional accreditation from the Agency for Quality of the Catalan University System (AQU) and the Council of Universities since March 2020.
Institutional accreditation involves the renewal of accreditation for all official undergraduate and master’s degrees offered at the faculty for a period of five years, in addition to possessing the certificate of implementation of its Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIC)
Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management
The bachelor’s degree in business administration and management at IGEMA is accredited by the Agency for Quality of the Catalan University System (AQU).
Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration in a Globalized Environment
The master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration in a Globalized Environment was verified on 18/1/2023. The favorable report of the VERIFICATION OF OFFICIAL DEGREE APPLICATION includes only one recommendation: Encourage and facilitate the research activity of the faculty.
ACCA
The bachelor’s degree in business administration and management (ADE) from IGEMA is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). This association is the global standard-setting body for professional accountants and finance professionals.
The ACCA accreditation of this degree allows for exemption from the assessment of up to 4 modules out of the 9 required to obtain the certification. Students can pursue this professional accreditation by registering with the association.

ICAC
IGEMA’s degree in Business Administration and Management has obtained, from the Instituto de Contabilidad y Auditoría de Cuentas, a partial generic exemption from the theoretical training courses for auditors and from the first phase of the entrance exam to the Official Register of Statutory Auditors.
